Lighthouse Technical
Sales, LLC is the successor company to Harman Associates, Inc. and has
retained Harman’s core staff, customer base, and product lines.
Harman Associates, formed in 1961, faithfully represented a diverse group
of electronic, electromechanical, fiber optic, and mechanical
companies. Larry formed Lighthouse in early 2004 and completed the
acquisition of Harman’s assets in March 2004. The company moved into its
current corporate headquarters in Nashua
in 2005.
Our current sales team has almost 75 combined years of successful OEM sales
in New England. Our organization takes
pride in its positive attitude and responsiveness to our customers’ and
principals’ interests. Several of our principals have been with us for
decades, and have recognized us for achieving and maintaining consistent
sales goals.

Larry Knight – President. Larry has been a part of Lighthouse and
its predecessor, Harman Associates, since 1983. He left Harman for 5 years
to work for Raytheon Marine/Sorenson Power Supply Company, returning to
Harman in 1989. Larry completed the purchase of Harman’s assets in
2004 to found Lighthouse Technical Sales. Larry holds a Business
Degree from Boston
College.

Julie
Davis – Account Manager. Julie joined the Lighthouse sales team in
2005. She comes to our company with
over 10 years experience of successful selling as a Sr. Account
Representative and Sales Engineer in the OEM Electronics industry for
companies that include Itronics, Everett Charles
Technologies, Electropac Prototype, Tri-Star
Technologies, and L-Com. Julie holds a BS/BA Marketing degree from
the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Mike Marinelli -
Account Manager. Mike joined
the Lighthouse Technical Sales team in February 2009. His technical background includes 10+ years
experience as a Manufacturing rep with Conti-Younger Associates and as a
Sales Manager with Elec & Eltek,
Hong Kong.
Mike holds a BS/BA Marketing degree from St. Bonaventure
University-NY.

Widge Merrill - Widge has been in the New England electronics business for over 25
years. He began his career as a buyer at Eaton Corp. (now Axcelis) in Beverly MA, a leading semi-conductor
equipment manufacturer, and then migrated into outside sales.
For 16 years he worked in distribution for Sager Electronics and later
at New England Wire Assemblies, a cable, harness and box-build CM, and for
the last 5 years as a manufacturer's rep with Conti-Younger Associates
Inc. During his sales career, Widge
has serviced the entire spectrum of Medical, Telecom, Military, Industrial,
Instrumentation, and Contract Manufacturer markets.

Janet Vaughn – Office Manager
|
|
|
Janet is an integral part of the Lighthouse sales team, the
first line of office communication with our customers, principals, and
field sales staff. Janet performs
all accounting as well as managing our extensive ACT and RPMS software
databases. Janet ensures that our
catalog library and contact files are up-to-date and available for
distribution. Janet also manages and updates the Lighthouse website
and produces the artwork, graphics, and text files for the company’s line
card, custom principal literature, trade show display graphics, and other
promotional publications.

Establish relationships with principals interested in a sales firm with a
record of long-term success and continued growth.
Maintain growth in existing business; find profitable new business; as well
as maximize business opportunities for our principals in New
England.
Enjoy the process of doing what we are outstanding at: digging hard
to find new product sales opportunities and applications; providing
technical support; following through in all aspects of the sales process;
building the New England territorial
business and thus making money for our principals.
Lighthouse Technical Sales intends to aggressively pursue new business by
utilizing our extensive experience, product and account knowledge, and
customer relationships, and by effectively managing and targeting the
10,000+ contacts in our master database.

To forge and strengthen customer relationships for our principals,
resulting in expanded sales volume and business opportunities in the New England market. We are interested in
developing and maintaining long-term relationships with principals who want
a hard working technical sales team with outstanding character, enduring
customer relationships, and a demonstrated track record of over 40 years of
success.

England market and has salespeople strategically located throughout
the region. We offer a wealth of product and customer experience and
maintain strong relationships with many key New
England companies. We are an organization that prides
